The Ministry of International Trade is in need of an easy to update delegate registration website for its ongoing trade missions to various countries. Missions occur on a bi-annual basis and the staff in the charge of facilitating the trade mission registration have little advance notice to create a new trade mission site, resulting in the need for quick turn-around time on execution details.
There are a number of usability and accessibility issues on the current site that need improvement (such as lack of feedback, and color-contrast issues). We aim to address these issues with the changes we are making.
The current site can be improved from a visual engagement perspective, along with cleaning up visual treatment and typography. This will help clarify the communication of information, while also create a more trustworthy experience.
To ensure that relevant businesses register for a specific trade mission and to reduce cost overhead in managing the delegates through the various stages of registration.
1) 100% registration completion of selected delegates who were shortlisted for the trade mission
2) Reducing effort in overall management tasks (i.e. emails and phone calls to resolve issues) surrounding the delegates
